I shy away from switching to solar panel due to high costs of installing a professional solar system by a solar company. It’s hard to justify to spend more than 20k for my budget. Although, a solar systems can probably offset the high price on warranty, financing and discounts.

I did some research online, there are many types of solar panels such as thin-film, polycrystalline in the market, this can offset my bills. Installation of Solar panel is complicated and can be dangerous. What am I missing?
